Travel Journal: Landing in Paradise Collection
March 29 2018,
Siargao Island, Philippines
The sun is about to wake up and we are already on our way to the first photoshoot destination.
We started our photoshoot around 6am to make sure we had the first sunbeam. The bridge on which we took the photos seemed to want to fall to ruin, but we were certain to find no tourist at this time which made it the place par excellence. The sun striking on the rocks made the colors seem unreal and the atmosphere was peaceful with birds singing in the background. After that, we went at the Guyan beach to make our surf photos session. It’s an intermediate-beginner place to surf and we find one of the most beautiful longboards rights. We arrived at mid-tide so there would still be beautiful waves, but less people in the water to proceed our photoshoot. The landscape surrounding the water was paradisiac so we took more photos on the ground.

For the last destination for our photoshoot, we went to the Kalinaw resort. Being on the end of the rainy season, the weather changed in a few minutes and we ended up under a tropical rain that forced us to stop the photoshoot. The scenery was still amazingly beautiful under the rain. Marija showed us the photos under the rain and we were thrilled because the results are amazing. We hope you'll like it as much as we do!

The photoshoot was at the Siargao Island in the Philippines. We wanted to be with people that lives in the Philippines, to produce the shoot with us, so we feel a real ''sufer vibe'' in our final pictures. First, we met Elaine Abonal, owner of the Surfista Travels surf camp. We wanted her to be the face of our new collection and she was happy be a part of it. Then, Elaine introduced us to Marija, the photographer. This is her website, for the curious ones. She lives there with her boyfriend because she fell in love wih the place and decided to stay in the Philippines. Finaly, we met Felica, a Swede arrived a few months ago on the island and who also fell in love with the tropics. We are more than happy to show you the results of the photoshoot, hoping it will bring joy to your hearts to see such a magnificent landscape.
