Communications Assistant, Customer Service, and Operations
3 days per week / approximately 20 hours

Location: June Swimwear Inc. Headquarters
Type: Permanent contract, 20 hours per week (Tuesdays (optional hours to be confirmed), Thursdays from 9 am to 6 pm, and Fridays from 9 am to 5 pm)

June Swimwear is looking for a Communications Assistant to join our team in Montreal on a permanent contract.

About June Swimwear//

June Swimwear is a swimwear company established in 2009 in Montreal, with multiple points of sale across Canada and internationally. We are a small, hardworking team passionate about swimwear, travel, and surfing. We are looking for a candidate who shares our values. Responsibilities//

1.Communications:

- Create visuals for stories, Facebook, and newsletters under the supervision of the communications and marketing specialist.
- Create Instagram feed and captions under the supervision of the communications and marketing specialist.

2.Customer Service:

- Handle Live Chat during work shifts.
- Respond to Instagram DMs during work shifts.
- Assist customers in the studio when the studio is open.
- Manage personalized shopping appointments if applicable.
- Handle in-person and postal returns during work shifts.
- Send follow-up emails for exchanges made at least 2 weeks prior.

3.Operations:

- Prepare online orders and shipping labels during work shifts.
- Maintain inventory in the studio (once a month or as needed).

4.Website:

- Ensure the website is updated monthly (homepage, featured items, suggested items at checkout, etc.).
- Continuously improve the website's display and bring new ideas to maximize online sales.

5.Social Media / Engagement / Competitive Monitoring

Qualifications and Experience Required//

- At least 1 year of experience in community management and visual creation.
- Comfortable working with Canva and Mailchimp.
- Comfortable with customer service and sales.
- Positive attitude.
- Creativity.
- Must be available to work at the studio.
