2. Portugal
Best waves of the old continent and warmest country in Europe, with 1,794 km of Atlantic coastline, this is a paradise for all the paddlers out there. In the summer, the waves are small to medium; perfect for the beginners. Powerful swells are from october to april, the waves double in size. This is when legendary spots like Nazaré in Praia do norte fire up. You definitely have to go to Peniche for its supertubos, the best beach break in the country! Surf's up girlfriend!
3. Spain
The Atlantic coastline is where you want to be. With a friendly climate, the weather is pleasant all year long. The Bay of Biscay sends consistent swells towards the coast of the Basque Country in Nothern Spain. Playa de Somo, Roca Puta, Sopelana, Zarautz, Menakozand Mundaka and El Brusco are the places that should be on your bucket list for an epic trip to Spain.

4. Costa Rica
This is one of the best places to surf if you’re a beginner. There’s tons of surf schools on both the coastlines and the weather is warm all year round. Plus, they have delicious cuisine (tacos por favor) for a good time after a day in the water. Everything to make the best memories. There’s four major regions you should check out; the Caribbean Coast for the biggest and most powerful waves, the North Pacific Coast for its constant swell, the Central Pacific Coast for its most accessible surfing spots and finally the South Pacific Coast for its lush tropical forests surrounded by wildlife.

5. Bali, Indonesia
Bali is the kind of place you need to go at least once in your life. The seascapes are absolutely stunning and it’s a yoga heaven. The best of both world; yoga on the beach! Kuta Beach, Canggu, Dreamland, Padang padang, Uluwatu and Bingin are the places you don’t want to miss. The best time to surf in Bali is during the dry season which is from May through September, when groundswells and offshore winds are consistent. You can also surf during the wet season, on the east coast and on Nusa Lembognan. Make sure to make a stop at LES.BASICS in Canggu to shop the latest summer trends by our good friend Fred and bring back some of that sun for us!
Floating effortlessly in the ocean, standing on your surfboard, is a unique feeling we wish all of you to live someday. Just enjoy the moment and treasure every memories you make.
